Is this a good price? Plus 10 yr warranty for labor and parts, including installation and removal of previous water heater tank. My old one is a 50 gal GSW SuperFlue power vented which cost CAD 1100+ from a different company.
its 1,900 Canadian dollars = 1,553 USD

The 50 gallon GSW ones I sell are $1530 CAD installed…Bradford white makes a decent unit too…
All of the domestic water heaters took a sizable price increase about two years ago when the manufacturers were all forced to change their designs to prevent the ignition of any fuel fumes that could be present in the same room as the heater. It was a fairly large change for them, so it equated to about a 25% price increase on most models.
If they are installing it for that price and taking the old one away, I would say it sounds a little bit high…but not too bad.
What price???? Did I miss something???
Seems awful high to me.
