Are you taking advantage of the 30% off windows, doors, water heaters,A/C?

by Water Heaters on July 27, 2010

I am really liking what I see in this stimulus package. I was planning on upgrading my windows and entry door this summer anyway, also I was planning on installing a on-demand water heater. Now I will help the economy by hiring .. plumbers, electricians, carpenters. I wish people could be more positive about this stimulus, it is really a great thing. I also have two boy’s in college that I am 100% paying for their tuition. With the education tax credit Obama has passed, I will have a tax savings of ,500 next year applied to that debt. Thanks Democrats.. keep up the great work!!!
comment on reply below.. I doubt a high schooler would know what a On -demand water heater is..

OMG! Obama’s plan provides money to send kids to those evil liberal indoctrination centers known as colleges? This will not stand! Why…those boys will turn out to be "educated left-wing elitists"!

Somebody get Hannity on the phone now! ;-)

(BTW, good luck with the remodling! I like my on-demand heater.)

We are hoping that the stimulus will help create more local jobs. If my husband can get work, we hope to do work on our house. But that won’t happen until we have work.

I doubt your out of high school, let alone have kids in college.

No. Windows are a huge scam. My water pressure is too low for an instant hot water heater.

Driving government money into the education system will drive up the price, leaving the students slaves to staggering debt before they reach their junior year. I think the government should only pay for economics classes – that would fix 90% of what ails us.

So I guess my tax money is going to help you fix up your house and make college unaffordable for my toddlers.

Why shouldn’t you love that?

honesty obama shouldn’t get the credit!!!

I had already got 2 new windows installed in January and we are planning on using our tax return to buy a mini split AC not sure if that is covered or not but it’s good to see that windows are.

This stimulus is temporary… The impending depression will start to eat away at anything the Democrats screw up…

I can’t wait until 2010 and 2012 when real hope and change will exist.

Thanks for pointing out a positive on the so-called Stimulus Bill.
I need to find something worthwhile on it.

Your going to love your on demand water heater . I got one two years ago and the money it saved me is just unbelievable . Cant figure out why they even bother making the old tank style .

I have projects planned for when the weather will cooperate but none of them will get me anything except my own comfort. No savings of any kind.I will do the ones I need and the others may be on hold depends on prices really. There is no reason prices should stay so high if the economy is picking up.We have been gouged enough.

So you must be one of those fat cat republicans the democrats are always spouting off about. Better be careful, they will wonder why you can afford to have nice things while they toil in poverty.

Your tax credit for your kids school will not be $2500 as there is a limit on the amount.

Are you also receiving some of the funding for the swamp mouse out in California? That is where the real money is at. Between Polosi and Reid, there is enough money for me to remodel my whole house on the government tit.

Taking money from the private sector, running it through inefficient government, giving it back to the people who pay it, and then giving it to someone else to pay taxes on, is a zero sum gain. The only ones who benefit are government.

Nice try there, maybe you should stay on the Huffington post site.
