I have a Pegasas shower falcet, the hot water keeps going cold after it is turned on, I did not get any instructions for adjusting the anti scald device, and I think it may be the problem. so how do I adjust this valve so I will have hot water with no change. I have a on-demand water heater which is only 5′ from this shower and it keeps the water super hot, so I know adjustment of the valve must be the problem.

It’s probably a limit under the handle. That is, something under the handle that limits how far it can turn.
Tankless water heaters have to have a certain flow to fire up, though. If you’ve got a super water-saver shower head, that might be part of the problem. It would be easy to check – just see how it works with the shower head off.
