Looking at buying a condo. The hot water for all 16 units is supplied from a "central commercial gas-fired, 120 gallon, high-output, quick-recovery water heater with circulating pump." A 120 gallon tank sounds unbelievably small for a building with 16 bathrooms, washers, dishwashers, and other hot water needs. Am I misunderstanding how hot water heaters [...]

I’d like to install a tankless, on-demand water heater (2 bathrooms, one upstairs, one downstairs, laundry and kitchen). I’d like comments on specific products, pros and cons, etc., and any advice. I’d like to hear from people who have actual experience, i.e., if you use one and/or have installed them. Thanks. Other Articles and Posts [...]

My tankless water heater (Paloma) makes a rumbling noise when the shower is set to "warm"?
April 26th, 2010 · 2 Comments · Paloma Water Heater
The shower temp control is a single knob type. The entire system is new construction. The shower at issue is closest to the heater system which is in the attic. Water supply is all 1/2" copper. No other noises occur from other two bathrooms (or kitchen) under similar conditions. Other Articles and Posts Maui Weather [...]
