Called the gas company, but with no gas smell, they won’t do anything. Been googling and reading the manual on the company website, but no answers…

Interestingly, the alarm finally shut off this morning after 5 hours, at the same time as the furnace came on with heat….

I am buying a 1238sf split level home, that is very energy efficient. Some key features are lennox G61 two stage furnace 95% with touch screen t panel, Rinnai on demand hot water heater, all exterior walls blown with R-23 dense pact optima w/ fabric, R-50 in attic, windows are low E/argon glass which meets energy star .3, zip wall system, zip roof, 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, gas stove, certified blow door tested, all duct work sealed and insulated to energy standards, spray foam all over heads, forced hot air. So my question is how long would a 500 gal propane tank last on avg in the winter months and then after the winter?

Single mom needs your help! Estimate 0, to replace existing lp water heater with natural gas one and connect to furnace and water heater. I heard there are conversion kits? If not, can I buy a natural gas water heater on my own for less, his charge is 0, uninstalled. Please advise. Anything may help. I really hope I can convert my current water heater. It’s only 6 years old.
I was told it was not convertible! The book said that the 40, 50 & 60 gallon heaters were convertible. He said he didn’t think so. Do you think he is trying to rip me off? Should I get another estimate? He said it would be 0 to hook up water heater and furnace if the water heater was convertable.
Im converting because this is a mobile home used as a cabin in the north woods. Five years ago when I was working I paid 0 to have the gasline brought from the road to the place. I am now getting the connection done because Wisconsin Public Service is now offering a 0 rebate to anyone who converts. I was told natural gas is a better choice in the long run. Plus it’s used very sparingly. A few winter weekends snomobiling… Am I doing the right thing. (Cory if you read this, please respond, I appreciate your knowledge)

My husband was shootin the breeze with a commercial contractor who did business at my husband’s place of employment. the commercial contractor said "oh I can put in a furnace for you-I’ll have a couple of guys over on their spare time and they’ll put it in. we can do C/A for you too" Well, my husband agreed. We have a 1600 sq foot home. It took them ten days later to put in a poor quality furnace (Goodman) and Lochnivar water heater. then billed us ,200. The furnace is at the east end of the ranch house and there was very little duct work to do. there was a new chimney liner put in. Are we bound to pay this ridiculous fee. I asked for a detailed bill and it shows an X at the bottom of the sheet where there is NO customer signature–that part is blank.
