please check the following link for information about Paloma’s WaiWela tankless water heaters. I am considering purchasing the outdoor model. We are a family of three and are expecting to expand to four in near future. We have a dishwasher, kitchen sink, 2 bathroom sinks, and 2 full baths. I wouldn’t expect more that 2 or three of those requiring hot water at any given time. We live in south west USA at 4000′ and experience winters with 10 degree lows. I have a large family 4 of us there full time and 2 stepkids w/ friends over every weekend and I have read that the more people you have in your home the less one of these tankless water heaters will work for you. Is there a special size I should look into getting or stay with a standard tank water heater? Also does anyone know how much money it will save me our house is 100% electric.

I have heard that tankless water heaters are more effecient, therefore cheaper on utility costs. How much would I save in a year on my gas bill? 50%? 30% 75%? Would it be worth switching? My water heater is only about two years old.

I am having several tankless water heaters installed in one of my developments. Has anyone had problems with the A.O. Smith on-demand water heaters model 505? How about with the venting of the unit? The company installing is having problems with the venting of it in certain units.

I was told that the electric variety of tankless water heaters suck up a lot more juice than their propane/nat gas counterparts. The reason I am considering electric is that I don’t want an extensive installation – I just want to replace my old electric tank heater with a wall-mounted tankless one. Is it worth it?

I have seen recently that there is a different option to on demand tankless water heaters other than gas and electric. These state they use laser to heat up water. Which is to cheaper to install? Which saves more energy? Which is more eco friendly? Maintenance? And basically overall.
