Does anyone have experience with a tank-less water heater, as too cost of operation, installation ease?

I am wondering weather the economies of a tank-less water heater are worth the trouble, for a household of two. Husband (that "little old winemaker is…m—e–!") takes long showers.

Ok so over the weekend i converted my Lx exhaust to a Ex same head d17a1

now the cat from the ex was oem i used a dc carb legal header

now here is where my issue began

everything fit perfectly but im throwing 2 code

1st code : PO135 O2 heater circuit ( bank 1,sensor 1)

2nd code : PO141 O2 heater circuit ( bank 1,sensor 2)

now from the lx o2 sensor need extending so i did so

first i crimped them made sure to use the wright gauge wire and everything this still gave me these 2 codes even when turned off they would still pop back up

second try to fix it i sauterd the wires makeing sure each wire was where and how it should be connected for proper conduction and protection from the weather aka water

i still threw those 2 codes

after i turn off/erase the codes wright after starting the car the check egine light pops wright back up **like its mocking me *** grrr

so wright now i cant pass california smog and my car is possibly running rich

also i would think i should go into limp mode and i have not weird

i have a lx ecu and im thinking maybe this is the issue im realy dunno at this point thats why im asking for help ideas to fix my issue or anything to test for

also the o2 sensors are like brand new 100 miles on them bosch

does humidity have any effect on flash hot water heaters?

bosch aqua star refuses to work. when i turn handle to cold and then back, it re-ignites but then stops again. are there any sensors that can be affected by outside weather??

Is a tankless water heater good for VERY cold weather?

I’m from Canada EH! And up here we commonly get sub-zero weather in the winter – it can sometimes gets as cold as -30 oF. I heard stories that a tankless water heater was ok in the summer, but in the winter when the temp is really cold, the hot water is that much colder – i.e. warm instead of piping hot – anyone with experience on this?

Why does our hot water heater sometimes not have much hot water in the morning?

This morning it was 8 degrees outside and the room with the water heater was warm and we had plenty of hot water. Last week it was 40 in the morning and the room with the water heater was warm and there wasn’t much hot water. What gives?

Also, this only happens in the winter time when the weather is colder but it is obviously not linked to temperature.

I have an apartment in a very old and drafty building. I have sealed the exterior windows and door with weather drafting. This has helped out considerably with the drafts. I do have a source of another draft in the hot water heater closet. It is starting to get right cold here now and I would like to know if it would be OK to seal this closet off as well. So my question is does my electric hot water heater need ventilation?
