Hello, the R50LS would be plenty for 2 but for the extra money and thinking ahead I would go with the R75LS. Make sure you have your water tested for hardness before you buy, because if it tests over 5 grains hard you will have problems without a softener. Also make sure the sales person tells you about the "optional" kits that you have to have because it will add another $200 plus to the price. They call them optional but you have to have them (vent & plumbing kits)

If you are going to sell your house get the better of the 2 if your house is worth a descent Price and if you in a up trend area. If not buy the outside unit.
